OUR STORY
We grew up in Bagru — a small town on the edge of Jaipur where the smell of dye and the sound of wooden blocks on fabric is just the texture of everyday life. Hand block printing wasn't a heritage we discovered. It was the world outside our window.
But as we grew older, something felt unfinished.
The fabrics surrounding us — intricate, handcrafted, alive with history — almost always ended up in the same place. Traditional. Ethnic. Occasion wear. Beautiful, yes. But not the full story these textiles deserved to tell.
That felt like an opportunity worth pursuing.
MAGO — a name drawn from our own, Mansi and Gourav — was born on 15th March 2025, from a simple belief: that the craft we grew up inside deserved a larger canvas.
Every piece begins in Bagru, in collaboration with artisans. Rooted in hand block and hand screen printing, the process is slow and intentional. No two pieces are identical. That's not a flaw — that's the point.
We work with 100% cotton and Kota Doria. Fabrics chosen for how they feel, how they breathe, how they last.
This is not fast fashion. MAGO is for those who read the label. Who want to know where something came from and whose hands made it.
It is tradition, thoughtfully evolved.
We're glad you found us.
